Chiropractic is the science, philosophy and the art of locating and correcting spinal subluxations. A spinal subluxation is a misalignment of the vertebrae to the point of causing an electrical interference between the brain and the body. Subluxations are the result of some type of trauma to the body. The trauma can be physical, chemical, electrical, emotional, a foreign substance or a foreign organism.
The professional practice objective of chiropractic is to correct vertebral subluxations in a safe and effective manner. It is applicable to any patient who exhibits nerve interference regardless of the presence or absence of symptoms or disease.
The Doctor of Chiropractic doesn’t force the misaligned vertebrae back into place, but will facilitate the body’s correction and relief of electrical nerve interference.
During the adjustment, the subluxated vertebrae are unlocked and releases from their misaligned positions. The body’s inborn intelligence is called upon to shape the spine. When this happens, the vertebrae return to their proper alignment and the normal nerve supply is restored. This allows one to achieve maximum healing.
In order to make a diagnosis and recommendation specific to your unique condition, the Gooing Chiropractic Clinic uses specialized low radiation x-ray equipment to view your spinal structure. X-rays are also used to measure your genetic potential and chronological age (compared to your actual age).
